Practically perfect poems performed precisely
Over the last few weeks in Giraffe class we have been writing and performing our own poetry! We have written shape poems, used alliteration and after reading the Jabberwocky, wrote our own poems using nonsense words!
Can you write a sentence using alliteration?
Oh sugar!
As part of our topic of chocolate, we have been investigating how much sugar is in the food and drink we consume. We made top trumps and our categories were the amounts of; sugar, salt, calories and protein. Here are some photos of us playing our games!

Biscuits in Giraffe Class!
Last week we made short bread biscuits in Giraffe Class! We followed a set of instructions to make our biscuits and we used butter, sugar and flour. When they were ready we put them in the oven to bake for about 15 minutes. We got to eat them when they were ready, they tasted scrumptious!

What's been around longer: Cat or Human?
Whilst talking about time and space, Aidan asked a very interesting question; what has been on Earth longest, Cats or Humans?
We carried out a vote to choose what we believed had been around longer, and our results were:
Cat: 17
Humans: 12
